Owner of VERUM Body Arts Studio and Northern Colorado native, Rachel is a talented artist who has been tattooing for over 8 years. She specializes in color and black-and-grey portrait realism, and loves to do colorful, painterly pieces with floral and portrait-based focal points.

Rachel began her tattoo journey during her senior year of high school and completed a traditional 3-year apprenticeship in Greeley, CO. She began VERUM Body Art Studio 5 years later with the goal of creating an environment rooted in professionalism, cleanliness, intention, inclusion, and a deep respect for art. 

Her tattooing process is collaborative and considerate to the client, prioritizing placement, flow with the body, and longevity of the design. She appreciates client ideas and vision and acknowledges that her best pieces are always those where she is trusted to use her creativity and artistic freedom. 

When she isn't tattooing, Rachel enjoys painting, gardening, going to the gym, and spending time with her family, friends, dog, and fiancé. 

Trained in classical drawing and painting techniques, Lin is a life-long artist who specializes in detailed black-and-grey portraiture and figure drawing. Her artworks use high contrast, intricate shading, and surrealistic aspects to blur the line between realism and fantasy.

Born in Tucson, AZ, and raised in Longmont, CO, Lin's passion for art began at an early age. Her artistic path was solidified in high school with her introduction to traditional oil painting and high-realism ballpoint pen drawings. She went on to study art at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design and Front Range Community College, ultimately earning a Bachelor's in Fine Art from the University of Northern Colorado in 2017.

In 2015, Lin began her tattoo apprenticeship in Greeley, CO, but shifted focus to other artistic endeavors, including teaching drawing and painting at the former Schissler Academy of Fine Art in Loveland, CO. She returned to tattooing in 2023, and has since dedicated herself to honing her skills in this dynamic medium.

Lin believes that incredible tattoos take time, patience, inspiration, and absolute trust between the client and tattooer, and hopes to make every tattoo a meaningful experience.
